How did they meet?
They first met when Luna was foraging in the forest during the beginning of the Savanaclaw arc. Due to her unfamiliarity with the area, she ended up lost with an injured ankles. Rook—on his way to his daily hunting—found her and helped Luna without telling her his identity. From then on, Luna became head over heels for Rook whom she considered her "Knight in Shining Armor." She only got to know his name after she went on the Spelldrive/Magift investigation with Cater, Ace, and Deuce.
How did they get close?
Following their first encounter, Luna frequently watched Rook from afar and often asked about him through Trey—which Rook noticed but pretended not to. They gradually became intrigued with each other though they only interacted directly during VDC. After getting to know each other, Rook found the two different sides of Luna quite fascinating which also made her feel safe showing her imperfect and vulnerable side to Rook. Thanks to NRC Tribe living together in Ramshackle throughout the VDC arc, Rook and Luna naturally spent a lot of time together from going to school on the weekdays to exploring the forest on the weekends. Eventually, the continuous interaction prompted them to have romantic feelings for each other.
Personality
Luna is a cheerful and self-reliant dorm leader of Ramshackle. Despite Luna's lack of magic, she seems to be favored and even respected by her peers due to her easygoing and helpful nature. Though behind her friendly demeanor, she is actually a huge introvert who gets anxious easily.In favor of not being seen as incompetent or imperfect, she pretends to be outgoing and often works three times harder to not depend on anyone. Luna only drops the pretense around her closest friends and Rook Hunt.
Background
Prior to Luna's arrival in Twisted Wonderland, she went to a prestigious all-girls boarding school where being highly intelligent and aesthetically pleasing were the norms. That put a lot of pressure on Luna who—compared to her peers—was average in both. The years she spent there turned her into a highly ambitious perfectionist who was so afraid of being seen as "ordinary". She would make plans three steps ahead to ensure she didn't get left behind.After enrolling in Night Raven College, she was faced with another high expectation. However, with no magical ability, no matter how many steps ahead she planned, she would always get left behind. That was her turning point to start accepting being an ordinary person who's just there to enjoy her mundane life around Ramshackle dorm.

★ Since she's poor and a bit picky with food, she likes foraging for food ingredients in the forest. That was also the main reason she joined Mountain Lovers Club.
